This is the academic homepage for Ethan Mollick, Edward B. and Shirley R. Shils Assistant Professor of Management in the Entrepreneurship Group at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

I study entrepreneurship and management in innovative industries, and the innovation process itself.  I am particularly interested in how individuals can influence the direction of companies, industries, and technologies.  I have a book out on video games and business, but have conducted research on topics ranging from middle managers to Moore’s Law to hackers.

I teach the Introduction to Entrepreneurship class at Wharton, Management 801, and provide some resources for would-be entrepreneurs, both in and out of Penn.
