This is the academic homepage for Ethan Mollick, Edward B. and Shirley R. Shils Assistant Professor of Management in the Entrepreneurship Group at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. More about me here.
I study entrepreneurship and management in innovative industries, and the innovation process itself. I am particularly interested in how individuals can influence the direction of companies, industries, and technologies. I wrote a book on video games and business, but have conducted research on topics ranging from middle managers to hackers to crowdfunding.
I teach entrepreneurship classes to MBAs and excutives, as well as other classes on entrepreneurship, and provide some resources for would-be entrepreneurs, both in and out of Penn.
